If you are looking for a simple smoothie recipe that is delicious and satisfying, you’ve come to the right place. The measurements are approximate, and the recipe is flexible – feel free to add or remove anything that you want!
Ingredients:
Raw spinach – 1 cup loosely packed
Frozen raspberries – 1 cup
Frozen strawberry slices – 1/4 cup
Avocado – 1/4 cup (I use frozen avocado that has been defrosted slightly)
Arbonne Chocolate Protein Powder – 1 serving
Almond, cashew or oat milk – 1.5 cups
Hemp Seeds – optional – 1 tbsp
Cocoa Powder – optional – 1 tbsp
Maca Powder – optional – 1 tbsp
How to Blend:
Using a blender or bullet mixer, start by adding the fruit and spinach at the bottom, followed by the protein powder and optional add-ins. The cocoa powder really enhances the flavour, and I highly recommend adding it in! Add the milk over top of everything else, and then blend until smooth.
You can either drink the smoothie right away, or leave it in the fridge for up to a couple of hours. I like to make one before I do a workout or yoga class at home, so that it’s ready for when I’m done.
