If you are looking for a simple smoothie recipe that is delicious and satisfying, you’ve come to the right place. The measurements are approximate, and the recipe is flexible – feel free to add or remove anything that you want!
Ingredients:
Raw spinach – 1 cup loosely packed
Frozen strawberry slices – 1/2 cup (trust me, use slices and not whole berries)
Frozen raspberries – 1/2 cup
Frozen pineapple – 2 – 3 chunks
Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder – 1 serving
Almond, cashew or oat milk – 1.5 cups
Hemp Seeds – optional – 1 tbsp
How to Blend:
Using a blender or bullet mixer, start by adding the fruit and spinach at the bottom, followed by the protein powder and hemp seeds if desired. Add the milk over top of everything else, and then blend until smooth.
You can either drink the smoothie right away, or leave it in the fridge for up to a couple of hours. I like to make one before I do a workout or yoga class at home, so that it’s ready for when I’m done. Depending on the amount of spinach, and the type of fruit you use, it may lose its bright colour if left for any length of time, but don’t worry, it will still taste amazing!
